C.B.S. Transportation, Inc. offers a wide variety of equipment to meet our customer's needs.  The following table is useful to help you determine what type of trailer will be necessary for the movement of your machinery.  The most critical piece of information to determine what type of trailer you will need is the height.  When shipping multiple pieces use the tallest piece height to determine trailer.

These following diagrams are intended to show only the basic types of trailers we offer and the differences between them.  In addition to the standard trailers shown below, C.B.S. FLATBED TRAILER
The flatbed trailer has a continuous running deck as shown above.  A flatbed can haul machinery with heights up to 8'6" High.  Other variations include a stretch flatbeds, these trailers can be expanded to haul a single self supporting piece of machinery or I-beams with lengths ranging from 48' long up to 80' Long with heights of up to 8'6".  If the height of your machinery exceeds 8'6" you will need to use a Single Drop or a Double Drop trailer as shown below.


SINGLE DROP TRAILER
The single drop trailer has a 1'10" drop in its deck height as shown above.  Then it provides a continuous running deck that can haul machinery with heights up to 10'2" High.  The front deck can be used for machinery with heights up to 8'5" high.  Other variations include a stretch single drops, these trailers can be expanded to haul a single self supporting piece of machinery with lengths ranging from 38' long up to 62' Long with heights of up to 10'4".  If the height of your machinery exceeds 10'2" you will need to use a Double Drop trailer as shown below.


DOUBLE DROP TRAILER
The double drop trailer has a 3' drop in the front and a 1'2" rise in the rear of its main deck as shown above.  It provides a main deck that can haul machinery with heights of 11'6" high without permits and higher with permits.  The front deck can be used for machinery with heights up to 8'5" high.  The rear deck can be used to haul machinery with heights of 9'4".  Other variations include a stretch double drops, these trailers can be expanded to haul a single self supporting piece of machinery with lengths ranging from 28' long up to 62' Long with heights of up to 11'6" and greater with permits.
